Ecorunner XI created at Holland Composites

The members of TU Delft’s Eco-Runner team have been working for us for a few weeks now. Using our production facilities, they are building the shell of their new urban concept car: made of lightweight, super strong composite. Layer by layer, the first contours of the Ecorunner XI are emerging.

This summer, they will be taking part in the Shell Eco-marathon, an international competition of student teams, all of whom are competing with their own design for a hydrogen-powered city car. The battle is not so much about who is the fastest, but about which car is the most economical in its use of this clean fuel.
