The Siemens office in Zoetermeer has a premiere: it has the first facade made of Duplicor® biobased fire-resistant composite!
The virtually seamless facade-filling elements and canopy elements, as well as window frames, are
matt black finish, with high-quality wet paint finish. The rainwater drainage is cleverly integrated into the canopy elements, giving the façade a very sleek look.
Installation anchoring of the Duplicor® façade elements is very simple and of light construction, thanks to the light weight of the façade elements themselves.
The elements were transported flat on one truck and assembled on site into a whole canopy and window frame. Thanks to prefabricated production, only one transport movement was required, which also kept CO2 emissions very low in terms of logistics.
With a B S1 D0 fire spread certificate from Efectis, this Duplicor® facade meets the highest fire requirements. This makes this material perfect for all kinds of facade projects, including high-rise buildings.
More information about Duplicor® bio-based fire-resistant composite, such as the fire class report, the carbon footprint report and extensive brochures, can be found on Duplicor®’s own website.
