Holland Composites Industrials began as a specialist in the construction of luxury sailing and motor yachts and has also been responsible for the Brunel Sunergy, the Dutch competitor in the Whitbread Round the World Race. HVI still builds maritime constructions, including high-quality sonar domes: the ‘bulbs’ containing sensitive listening equipment under the bows of naval frigates. Unique, bespoke constructions of this type have to meet the most stringent technical requirements.
The expertise amassed in this field is extremely useful in the new markets in which HCI has been active over recent years, such as the building and infrastructure sector and bespoke production of plating and cladding material. From gullwing roofs or cupolas in Israel and Iraq to cheese boards and student accommodation in the Netherlands… our workshops in Lelystad turn out the most beautiful objects.
